Nothing to gain for the Andalusians?
In the 2010s, Sevilla FC established itself as one of the top clubs in European soccer. Between 2014 and 2016 alone, the Andalusians won the Europa League three times in a row. Although they recently extended their status as record Europa League winners with their seventh title in the summer of 2023, not much remains of the glory of the past decade. For years, the Nevionenses have been mediocre in La Liga and even fought against relegation last season. Accordingly, Sevilla’s away win against Barcelona seems to be the only option right now.
Hansi Flick’s men are still unbeaten and lead the table with 19 out of a possible 21 points. Only in the Champions League did they suffer a setback during the week, losing 2-1 at home to defending champions Paris Saint-Germain. In the last league game before the international break, we still think Barca has a good chance of winning away at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjúan, which is why we’re sticking with the three-way system in our Sevilla vs. Barcelona prediction and going for tip 2.
Admittedly, the odds for tip 2 are not particularly high for Sevilla vs. Barcelona. Although there is value on the ticket, with odds of 1.50, it is not possible to make a high profit without placing exorbitant bets. We therefore also suggest alternatives that promise slightly higher odds. In view of the fact that the Andalusians have recovered from a weak start with two defeats in their first two La Liga games and have recently picked up an impressive ten out of a possible 15 points, we do not expect a goal fest.
Sevilla – Barcelona Head-to-head record / H2H balance
Head to head: 45 – 39 – 117
The two teams have faced each other 201 times in total, with FC Barcelona leading the head-to-head record against Sevilla FC by a clear margin with 117 wins. The Catalans have won the last seven La Liga duels in a row with the Europa League record winners and celebrated a resounding 4-1 away win at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjúan last season.

Sevilla – Barcelona Tip
The betting odds for Sevilla vs. Barcelona clearly favor the leaders from Catalonia. No wonder, as the Blaugrana are once again comfortably leading the La Liga table, while the lackluster Europa League record winners from Andalusia are only in tenth place.
At least the Nervionenses were able to avert a threatening false start under new coach Mathias Almeyda and recently picked up ten out of a possible 15 points. However, it is highly doubtful that this will be enough to stand up to the defending champions, against whom they have lost all of their last seven league games.
Against this backdrop, we recommend betting on an away win for the Blaugrana in Sevilla vs. Barcelona. Betano is offering odds of 1.50 for this, which we are betting on with seven out of ten possible units.
