Will Sweden remain winless?

On Monday evening, Sweden will face Kosovo in World Cup Qualifier Group B. Sweden is currently falling well short of expectations – the top striker duo of Isak and Gyökeres in particular has been disappointing so far. Sweden is currently bottom of the group with just one point and has scored only two goals so far. Kosovo, on the other hand, is surprising everyone and is in second place with four points. In our Sweden vs. Kosovo tip, we are again expecting under 2.5 goals, as in the first leg.

Sweden has been very disappointing so far, sitting in fourth place in Group B – with -4, they also have the worst goal difference in the group. On Friday, they suffered their second 0-2 defeat in a row – after the loss to Kosovo, this time they lost to Switzerland.

Sweden’s only two goals so far came in their first game, a 2-2 draw with Slovenia. As the offense does not seem to be working well together at the moment, our Sweden vs. Kosovo prediction is that Sweden will not score in both halves.

Kosovo has gotten off to a good start in World Cup qualifying, drawing with Slovenia after winning the first leg against Sweden. This puts the Kosovars in second place in the table with a goal difference of -2 and only two goals scored.

What is striking is that in all three of Kosovo’s games, not a single goal was scored in the second half. We are therefore betting on “2nd half or final score X” again, as the bet would also have been successful in two of Sweden’s three games. You can place your bet on Sweden vs. Kosovo odds of 2.55 in the Bet-at-home app.

Sweden – Kosovo Head-to-head comparison / H2H record

In the four previous matches between Sweden and Kosovo, the Scandinavians have clearly had the upper hand. They won three of the four encounters, with Kosovo winning once. There have been no draws so far. Overall, the goal difference of seven to two also clearly favors Sweden. Three of the matches took place as part of the European World Cup qualifiers, while another was a friendly.

Sweden – Kosovo Tip

Sweden is, of course, the clear favorite going into this game thanks to home advantage and individual quality. However, they are currently unable to play to their strengths and are falling well short of expectations. In their three games so far, they have only managed one draw. Kosovo, on the other hand, won the first leg against Sweden and is in second place in Group B with four points.

Both teams have only scored two goals in their first three games – only the number of points they have earned differs. We therefore predict again that no more than three goals will be scored. We also do not believe that Sweden will score in both halves of the game. Since Kosovo has not scored a single goal in the second half of any game so far, we are again predicting a draw in the second half or at the end of the game. Ahead of the Sweden vs. Kosovo match, the betting odds suggest that this is a good value bet!
