Juventus winless in seven games

On Sunday evening, Lazio Rome and Juventus will conclude the eighth matchday of Serie A with the last game of the day. Both teams are currently struggling with inconsistent form – on the last matchday, Lazio drew 0-0 with Atalanta Bergamo, while Juventus suffered a 0-2 defeat against Como. Overall, the Romans are now unbeaten in three games, which is why we are once again expecting the Biancocelesti to pick up at least one point in our Lazio Rome vs. Juventus prediction.

Lazio Rome had a weak start to the season with only one win and three defeats from their first four games. Recently, however, they have gone three games unbeaten and picked up a win, which puts them in twelfth place in the table. At home, there is currently no discernible trend – in their three games so far, they have had one win, one draw, and one defeat.

What is striking, however, is that the Romans scored five of their seven goals in the first half. Only in the derby against AS Roma did they fail to score. Therefore, in our Lazio Rome vs. Juventus prediction, we are betting on another goal in the first half for the Biancocelesti. Their head-to-head record against Juve could give them additional hope: Rome has lost only one of its last six home games.

Juventus Turin is currently in a slump: after five consecutive draws, they have now suffered two defeats – leading to seven consecutive games without a win, after winning their first three games at the start of the season. This puts them in seventh place in Serie A – level on points with last week’s opponents, Como, with twelve points each.

In the Old Lady’s last six games, only once have more than two goals been scored – against Lazio in three of their last seven games. We are therefore betting on under 2.5 goals in the game again.

Lazio Rome – Juventus Head-to-head record / H2H record

Lazio and Juventus have faced each other in a total of 180 competitive games – including 162 in Serie A, 14 in the Italian Cup and four in the Super Cup. Juventus have won 95 of these encounters, while Lazio have won 44 and 41 games have ended in a draw. The goal difference also clearly favors the Old Lady, with 316 to 200.

Lazio Rome – Juventus Tip

Given the Lazio Rome vs. Juventus betting odds, the Old Lady from Turin is the favorite going into this game. However, Juventus is currently struggling with its form and has now gone seven games without a win, so our tip is for Lazio Rome, which is currently unbeaten in three games, to win or draw. In addition, they have lost only one of their last six home games against Juve.

The Biancocelesti have not shown any signs of good or bad form at home – but there is one notable fact: five of their seven goals at the Stadio Olimpico were scored in the first half. The Old Lady, on the other hand, has shown a tendency to score few goals – in five of their last six games, the Turin side has scored no more than two goals.
