Will the Cowboys keep their playoff hopes alive?
Turkey feast, the second, in our Cowboys vs. Chiefs tip. Both Thanksgiving games are really exciting, and this match in Dallas can even be considered a playoff final – even though the two teams don’t play in the same conference.
But for the Cowboys in particular, it’s another last chance to keep their playoff hopes alive. A defeat and they would almost certainly be out of the running, trailing by three wins. A defeat wouldn’t spell the end for Kansas City, but they would then have to be almost perfect for the rest of the season.
Who can handle the pressure better? On the last matchday, both teams proved that they have strong nerves. The Cowboys saved themselves against Philly with a game-winning field goal as the clock ran down, and the Chiefs with an overtime victory against the Colts.
All in all, however, we have a little more faith in Patrick Mahomes in these do-or-die games. So, for Cowboys vs. Chiefs, our prediction is an away win for Kansas City, which could continue its comeback in the AFC.

Dallas Cowboys – Kansas City Chiefs Head-to-head record
1975 – that’s how long ago it was that the Chiefs last won in Dallas. However, the two teams have not faced each other all that often. The last time was in 2021, and Kansas City won that game quite convincingly, 19-9. It was also the only meeting between Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes, who has never lost to his fellow quarterback.
The conditions for this duel are simple: Dallas has the better offense this season, Kansas City the clearly better defense. It is precisely this defense, which allows 10.2 (!) fewer points per game, that is likely to make the difference here.
On the offensive side, the difference is only 3.9 points in favor of the Boys. All in all, the points balance per game is 6.2 points in favor of the Chiefs. This means that the odds for Kansas City with a handicap of up to -3.5 points are still very good for Cowboys vs. Chiefs.

Do we trust the Chiefs offense or the Dallas defense more? These are the two weak points of the teams, and for us it’s clear: Pat Mahomes and his offense should have more answers here than the porous Cowboys defense.
So for Cowboys vs. Chiefs, our tip recommendation is Kansas City -3.5, followed by tips on over 27.5 points for the Chiefs. The Boys allow 28.5 points on average, and we definitely believe Mahomes, Kelce, and Co. are capable of that in such an important game.
For our player bet, however, we’re looking at the other side, namely the Cowboys. One player is really on a roll right now, and to everyone’s surprise, it’s not CeeDee Lamb. George Pickens is currently the best receiver on the Cowboys and has racked up over 140 yards and a touchdown in each of the last two games.
