To give Colts fans a little hope, let’s take a look at the head-to-head comparison. Indy has won the last five games in a row (most recently in 2021). But that was without a 41-year-old quarterback, and Christian McCaffrey was not yet with the Niners.
The Niners’ running back is the outstanding player of the season and could once again gain 1,000 yards on the ground and through the air. How Indianapolis plans to stop him remains questionable – even though they don’t have a bad defense against the run, allowing only 95.1 rushing yards per game.
But since Rivers can’t generate big plays on offense (his arm no longer allows it), the Colts are very predictable and Jonathan Taylor won’t get any space either. That makes the odds on the Niners -4.5 our absolute top bet for Colts vs. 49ers.

You can’t help but feel a little sorry for the Colts. They’re having an outstanding season, but then they not only lose four games in a row, but also their quarterback Daniel Jones. With Philip Rivers, we don’t see them winning another game this season. Their remaining schedule is too difficult for that.
The 49ers are a particularly tough opponent right now, having won their last four games by double digits – with an average margin of 15.25 points. That makes a bet on San Francisco -4.5 in Colts vs. 49ers a sure thing for us.
