Will there be another high-scoring spectacle?

Offense is key in our Falcons vs. Rams tip for the penultimate Monday Night Game of the NFL season. The conditions are clear: Atlanta is playing for pride (which they have been doing very well so far), while the Rams are playing for the number one seed in the NFC.

Will the game be very one-sided? We don’t think so, because the Falcons have played much better recently without pressure, and Kirk Cousins as quarterback was a clear upgrade over Michael Penix. Over the last two games, they have averaged 27.5 points away from home.

This should allow them to keep up with the Rams in terms of scoring, at least for long stretches. Los Angeles’ stronger defense will most likely tip the game in their favor in the end. However, we don’t expect to see a blowout victory here.

So, for Falcons vs. Rams, our prediction is a Rams victory, but they will have to give it their all and definitely can’t take it easy. If they underestimate Atlanta, there could be a nasty surprise.

Kick-off for this NFC matchup is at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday night in Atlanta. The Monday Night Game will be broadcast live on the DAZN streaming service.

Atlanta Falcons – Los Angeles Rams Head-to-head comparison / H2H record

The last two head-to-head matchups went to the Rams, but the five games before that went to Atlanta. What is particularly striking about this matchup is the number of high-scoring games. In seven of the last ten games, the 50-point mark was surpassed – in some cases by a wide margin.

A total of 49.5 points is predicted for Monday, a mark that we expect to be surpassed. However, the Falcons will also contribute to this. Bijan Robinson is in outstanding form (175 and 168 scrimmage yards last time out) and even the Rams are likely to find it difficult to stop him.

So, in Falcons vs. Rams, the odds on over points are playable, as are the handicap tips on the Falcons. The bookmakers are setting the bar extremely high here at +8.0, and the Falcons have only lost four times this season by that margin.

Atlanta Falcons – Los Angeles Rams Tip

If the Rams have one weakness this season, it’s against the pass. They allow an average of 221.3 yards per game. Good for Atlanta that Drake London is back on board and Bijan Robinson has also been increasingly active as a ball catcher lately (8 catches against Tampa and 7 against Arizona). In addition, Kyle Pitts is finally in the form that has been expected of him for years.

This makes the matchup more favorable for the Falcons than it might appear at first glance, and a bet on Atlanta +8.0 is definitely viable for Falcons vs. Rams. However, over-point bets are also a very good alternative.

For a player bet, we’re going back to Los Angeles. Puka Nacua is breaking record after record there, and it would be surprising if he didn’t find the end zone again on Monday. A TD bet on Nacua is therefore highly recommended. He has scored four touchdowns in his last three games.
