Will the Niners surprise Seattle too?

“Take three” is the motto for our Seahawks vs. 49ers tip. This is because the two teams are meeting for the third time this season. The exciting thing is that so far, the away team has won every time, which in this case would be the Niners.

However, they have had further prominent absences to contend with since the last duel. On Sunday, their superstar tight end George Kittle joined the list – a clear weakening. That won’t necessarily make it any easier for the 49ers offense to compete against the best defense in the league (17.2 points conceded per game).

Incidentally, the Seahawks are now considered the bookmakers’ big favorites for Super Bowl 2026. They have even overtaken the Rams and the Patriots. However, they first have to get past the 49ers, which is likely to be more difficult than most experts expect.

Betting providers have Seattle ahead by an average of 7.5 points, which we consider to be a lot. Our prediction for Seahawks vs. 49ers is a duel between two evenly matched teams, which will be won by the team that makes fewer mistakes in the end. And Sam Darnold (Seahawks) is always in the mix.

Kick-off for the NFC playoff game is at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday morning in Seattle.

The 49ers have already tripped up a favorite, and they could do it again here. At the very least, they should be able to keep the game close for a long time. That makes handicap bets on San Francisco or even win bets on the Niners for the first quarter or first half viable as well.

Seattle Seahawks – San Francisco 49ers Head-to-head comparison / H2H statistics

These two teams face each other very often. Accordingly, the blueprint of their results is large. This season, both teams have won one game each. However, the last four games at Seattle’s Lumen Field have all gone to the 49ers.

The Hawks will definitely have that in the back of their minds. Especially since the margin of victory in those four games was not even low, averaging 10.5 points. This means that the Niners can certainly be described as a minor bogey team for the Seahawks – at least in their rivals’ stadium.

This naturally makes betting on the Niners an interesting proposition. Especially since they are considered the biggest underdogs of the entire playoff round (7.5 points). In their last meeting, however, the 49ers only managed 53 rushing yards. With similar stats, Saturday night won’t be any different.

Seattle Seahawks – San Francisco 49ers Tip

In our tip for the Niners against Philly, we listed all of San Francisco’s injured players (Ayiuk, Bosa, Williams, etc.), but apparently to no avail. Head coach Kyle Shanahan has managed to prepare the second string so well that they are playoff-ready. Nevertheless, the additional loss of George Kittle is of course a huge blow.

His replacement, Jake Tonges, is good, but not quite at the same level, and that could ultimately be the difference maker that is needed to win the game. However, they should definitely be able to keep the game close, which makes San Francisco +7.5 our tip recommendation for 49ers vs. Seahawks.

The Niners are also our go-to team for a player bet. They have Christian McCaffrey, the league’s outstanding running back, who even scored two receiving touchdowns against Philly. Our alternative tip is therefore: a touchdown by McCaffrey at strong odds of 1.80.
