Can the Hammers avoid another setback in the derby?
Although Crystal Palace lost 1-2 to Fiorentina on Thursday night, their 3-0 first-leg victory meant the Eagles still secured their ticket to the Conference League semifinals, so a mixed season could still end on a high note.
In the Premier League, any relegation worries were finally put aside for the time being thanks to a haul of 13 out of a possible 21 points. Should Tip 1 come through in Crystal Palace vs. West Ham, the Glaziers would also keep another pursuer at bay.
The Hammers head into the sixth-to-last matchday of the Premier League with a slim two-point lead over Tottenham. The fact that West Ham is finally back above the relegation line is due to the fact that they have won five of their last eleven league games (three draws, three losses). In fact, only four other teams have earned more points during that same period. This also makes it extremely difficult to predict the outcome of this London derby. We find the best value in betting that both teams will score, just as they did in the first leg, which the Eagles won 2-1.
While we would clearly steer clear of the three-way system, there is much to suggest that Monday night’s London derby will not be a tight affair, but rather a high-scoring one. After all, only four teams have scored more goals than the Hammers over the last eleven matchdays, while Crystal Palace has also scored eight goals in their last four competitive matches.
Crystal Palace – West Ham Head-to-Head Record
Head-to-Head: 21 – 24 – 26
A total of 71 matches have taken place between the two London teams so far, and West Ham United leads the head-to-head record with 26 wins. However, Crystal Palace has won five of the last seven Premier League clashes between the two teams (one draw, one loss). The Eagles also prevailed 2-1 in the first leg at the Hammers’ home ground.

Crystal Palace – West Ham Prediction
Both London teams have had their share of struggles in the 2025/26 season, but have recently shown much greater stability. With the fifth-best points tally over the last eleven matchdays, the Hammers have now even managed to climb out of the relegation zone, making it very difficult to predict the outcome of the match between Crystal Palace and West Ham.
The Eagles, too, have lost only two of their last seven league games (four wins, one draw), following a run of nine consecutive winless Premier League matches (three draws, six losses). For both teams to score, the Betano app lists odds of 1.65 for Crystal Palace vs. West Ham, which we’re betting on with five out of ten units.
