Can the Granata upset the league leaders?
While the 2025/26 season hasn’t always gone smoothly for Inter Milan—and the embarrassing exit in the Champions League playoffs against Bodø/Glimt still lingers slightly for last year’s finalists—it currently looks as though the Nerazzurri could at least secure the domestic double this summer.
After all, with five matchdays remaining in Serie A, they already hold a twelve-point lead over AC Milan, and in the Coppa Italia semifinals earlier this week, they managed a 3-2 comeback victory against Como after trailing 0-2. The trend for the Turin FC vs. Inter Milan match thus points toward an away win for the Biscione (meaning: the viper).
Meanwhile, Turin FC, sitting in 12th place, is stuck in the middle of the table. Avoiding relegation is now just a formality, while the gap to the European spots is too wide. Most recently, the Granata have gone three games unbeaten (two wins, one draw), though they’ve only faced lightweights like Cremonese (0-0), Verona (2-1), and Pisa (1-0). Nevertheless, the Piedmontese generally know how to defend. We therefore consider it unlikely that “Il Toro” (the Bull) will be thrashed as badly as in the first leg (0-5). Consequently, the match combo on an Inter away win with under 4.5 goals offers significant value.
The game plan for Roberto D’Aversa’s team should be clear: stay as solid defensively as possible and hold the 0-0 score against the league leaders for as long as possible, in hopes of perhaps unnerving the Nerazzurri and tempting them into making a mistake. However, the Lombards have proven they can play a patient game, and one of the reasons they’re in first place is that they’ve won 25 of their 33 league matches and have dropped almost no points against the league’s smaller teams.
Nevertheless, it’s conceivable that there will be no more than one goal in the first half. After all, even in the cup match against Como, the Nerazzurri didn’t really turn it on until the final 20 minutes.
Turin FC – Inter Milan Head-to-Head Record
Head to Head: 55 – 55 – 85
A total of 195 matches have taken place between the two teams so far, and with 85 wins, Inter Milan leads the head-to-head record by a wide margin.
In particular, Torino FC has had virtually no success in recent years, suffering defeats in both the first leg (0–5) and the Coppa Italia quarterfinal (1–2) in 2025/26, and has gone 14 competitive matches without a win against Inter Milan (one draw, 13 losses). In eight of the last ten encounters, the Piedmontese haven’t even managed to score a single goal against the Nerazzurri.

Turin FC – Inter Milan Prediction
The betting odds from the top bookmakers for the Turin FC vs. Inter Milan match clearly favor the visitors, who already won the first leg in spectacular fashion with a 5-0 victory.
However, “Il Toro” has won its last three consecutive Serie A home games and should be able to put up a slightly better fight, especially at home in Piedmont. We therefore do not expect another lopsided victory for the league leaders, who are still feeling the effects of a tough match in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night.
However, since we also see no value in the Turin FC vs. Inter Milan prediction for the Piedmontese to earn a point despite high odds, we ultimately stick with Tip 2, but combine this tip with a bet on a maximum of four goals in the match, which would also cover results such as a 3-1 away win.
For the Biscione to win the away match at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino while keeping the total under 4.5 goals, Betano is offering odds of 1.75, which we’re backing with four out of ten units.
