Can the Giallorossi still make it into the top four?
AS Roma, who even briefly held the top spot in the table after Matchday 12 of Serie A, were on course for the Champions League for much of the 2025/26 season under new coach Gian Piero Gasperini. But then came the slump in form in the spring, which saw the Giallorossi slip back a bit. However, by picking up ten out of a possible twelve points from their last four matches, the door to the Champions League has opened just a crack once again. If the Wolves pull off an away win against AS Roma at Parma, they could return to the top four with a little help from the results.
Parma Calcio, on the other hand, has put in a rock-solid season under Spanish coach Carlos Cuesta and has recently secured its future: The team, currently twelfth in the table, can no longer be relegated mathematically. The Gialloblù have lost only one of their last five league games (two wins, two draws), which is quite remarkable given that they scored just four goals during that stretch and their lack of offensive firepower remains their major weakness. With only 25 goals in 35 league games, Parma has the third-weakest offense in Serie A behind Verona and Lecce (24 each). Not least for this reason, our tip is for an away win by the Giallorossi.
After all, the team from the Eternal City boasts the second-best defense in Italy’s top flight with just 29 goals conceded in 35 league matches, trailing only Como 1907 (28). Most recently, the Giallorossi have kept a clean sheet in three of their last four league games. Only their finishing hasn’t always been perfect, so it might make sense to hedge against results like 0-0 or 1-1.
Parma – AS Roma Head-to-Head Record
Head-to-Head: 11 – 13 – 38
A total of 62 competitive matches have been played between the two teams so far, and with 38 wins, AS Roma clearly leads the head-to-head record. The Giallorossi have also won their last three Serie A matches against the Emiliani, all by a shutout, and have secured six wins in their last seven competitive matches against Parma Calcio (one loss).

Parma – AS Roma Prediction
While there is no longer much at stake for the Emilian side, the capital club is still hoping to catch either the struggling AC Milan or Juventus Turin to qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season despite a slump in form this spring.
Against this backdrop, our prediction for Parma vs. AS Roma is an away win for the Wolves, who have won six of their last seven competitive matches against the Gialloblù (one loss) and arrive in Emilia-Romagna boasting the second-best defense in Serie A.
Given that the Emiliani have scored just 25 goals in 35 Serie A matches, we find the greatest value in this matchup in the straightforward bet on an away win for the Wolves.
