Will the Reds celebrate their third straight win?
Ahead of Liverpool’s match against Fulham, a prediction of a home win seems like a safe bet, as the Reds are really picking up steam after a mixed start. Their first Premier League win under Andoni Iraola—a 2-0 victory at Ipswich Town—was followed midweek by an emotional 2-1 win against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League.
After two 2-2 draws to start the season, Liverpool has now celebrated two important victories and is likely to enter the match with renewed confidence. The home team is therefore the clear favorite, with odds averaging below 1.50 on the 1X2 market—a point for the Londoners, who have yet to earn any points this season, would thus be quite a surprise.
Fulham, on the other hand, remains winless after three matchdays and has already conceded seven goals; only two teams have let in more so far. Most recently, the Londoners lost 2–3 at home to Crystal Palace, having already suffered a 2–3 defeat to Chelsea in their season opener.
However, seven goals scored in four competitive matches show that Fulham is quite competitive offensively under Álvaro Arbeloa. Defensively, though, they regularly leave large gaps, which provides the first argument for “Both Teams to Score” in my Liverpool vs. Fulham prediction. The match also holds special significance for Arbeloa, as the Spaniard spent several years as a player with Liverpool FC. But: Former Reds players have never managed to defeat their former club in the Premier League as coaches (0-0-5)
Liverpool, however, has also been waiting for a win in Premier League home games across seasons and has now recorded the longest such streak since spring 2021. Nevertheless, I’m confident that the lower Liverpool vs. Fulham odds will pay off this time, especially since the Reds bring significantly more confidence and, naturally, quality to the table.
With Bradley Barcola expected to be out—he had to be subbed out due to injury on Wednesday—the burden will likely fall a bit more on Alexander Isak, who has already scored three times and most recently netted a brace in Ipswich. Winamax is offering top odds of 2.00 for Isak to score.
Liverpool – Fulham Head-to-Head Record
In 33 league matches at Anfield Road to date, Liverpool has lost only twice to the Londoners, with 23 wins and eight draws. However, the Reds have managed just two wins in their last six head-to-head matches, one of which came last season when Liverpool prevailed 2-0 at home. That 2-0 win was also one of only two of the last ten meetings in which neither team scored, which further supports the BTTS approach and provides another reason to add the Liverpool vs. Fulham betting odds to your bet slip.

Liverpool – Fulham Prediction
All in all, there’s a lot pointing in Liverpool’s favor. The Reds have really picked up steam recently with their first win of the season at Ipswich and their emotional Champions League victory over Atlético, while Fulham has already conceded seven goals after three losses in the Premier League.
At the same time, the Londoners are by no means harmless on offense and have scored twice in two of their league matches so far. It’s precisely this mix that makes the game more interesting to me than just looking at the 1X2 market.
Fulham’s attacking style, the visitors’ defensive vulnerability, and Liverpool’s recently much more dynamic offense all point to goals from both sides, in my view. As alternatives, I like Alexander Isak to score, as well as a Liverpool win combined with Under 5.5 goals. My score prediction would be a 3-1 win for the Reds.
