Will the Chiefs Add to the Seahawks’ Woes?

The NFL has plenty of blockbuster games on Schedule 7, and the Sunday Night Game—featuring our Seahawks vs. Chiefs pick—is no exception. Quite the contrary, as two of the last three Super Bowl champions are going head-to-head here.

As it stands, the two teams are ranked 3rd (Chiefs) and 6th (Seahawks) among the 2027 Super Bowl favorites—though the loser will likely drop a few spots. The Hawks, in particular, can’t really afford a third straight loss if they don’t want to fall behind in their tough NFC West division.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, are still undefeated, which is why we’re surprised that they’re now considered underdogs by +2.5 points in Seattle. That definitely doesn’t do justice to their current form, but it does give us plenty of options for our picks.

So, for Seahawks vs. Chiefs, our prediction is an away win for the slightly more seasoned Chiefs, who also have the clearly better running back in Kenneth Walker. Ironically, he came straight from Seattle, and his departure has completely ruined the Seahawks’ running game.

The Chiefs as underdogs? Bring on the Seahawks vs. Chiefs odds, because that allows for point spread bets on the Chiefs, handicap bets on them, and even win bets at surprisingly high odds of up to 2.24.

Seattle Seahawks – Kansas City Chiefs Head-to-Head Record

Four of the last five regular-season matchups (the preseason is a different story) went to Kansas City. That’s not surprising, since Patrick Mahomes has a winning record against almost every team. However, since the last matchup was four years ago, this statistic is only of limited significance.

But the current statistics also clearly favor Kansas City. They have a +6 better turnover differential, score 3.3 more points per game, and allow 3.7 fewer points per game. These are further reasons why we have our doubts about the Seahawks’ status as favorites.

Seattle Seahawks – Kansas City Chiefs Pick

We’ve already mentioned a few points in Kansas City’s favor, but there’s one more to consider. The Chiefs are coming off their bye week, during which superstar receiver Rashee Rice was able to recover from his thigh injury.

Enough about the advantages—now it’s time to make a pick. For the Seahawks vs. Chiefs game, our clear favorite betting option is a bet on Kansas City as the road team.

The Seahawks have looked a bit sloppy on both sides of the ball lately—something they simply can’t afford against the Chiefs.

For a player bet, we’re also targeting a Chiefs player and recommend a touchdown bet on Kenneth Walker. He’s already scored eight touchdowns in six games so far and should also be particularly motivated against his former team.
