Will the Bengals take over the Bernabéu?

¡Que viva la NFL! With our Falcons vs. Bengals pick, the NFL is coming to Spain for only the second time ever—more specifically, to Madrid’s famous Bernabéu Stadium. This year’s matchup is significantly more exciting from a sports perspective than last year’s (Dolphins vs. Commanders).

After all, the Bengals, at least, are considered dark horses in the 2027 Super Bowl odds (Top 8). Although the Falcons got off to a dismal start to the season, they’ve since regained their footing and have defeated both the strong Packers and the 49ers.

Most recently, however, they provided another low point with a 0–16 loss to the Buccaneers. Consistency is therefore not necessarily the word we associate with the Falcons this season. For the Bengals, that applies at least on offense (29.4 points per game), which is why our prediction for Falcons vs. Bengals is a Cincinnati victory.

The first Madrid game in 2025 saw a meager 29 total points, despite overtime. We should easily surpass that total this year, as the Bengals boast the league’s second-best offense. So, for Atlanta vs. Cincinnati, the odds on the over 52.5 points are also an interesting betting option.

Atlanta Falcons – Cincinnati Bengals Head-to-Head Record

All three matchups over the past twelve years went to the Bengals, two of them by a margin of at least two touchdowns. At the very least, we can use the 35–17 result from 2022 as a reference, since Burrow and his two top weapons, Chase and Higgins, were already on the field back then.

Chase promptly racked up 130 yards and two touchdowns, which seems entirely possible again this Sunday. The Falcons allow a total of 341.2 yards per game and are particularly vulnerable through the air. Last Sunday’s game (0 passing yards by the Bucs) dramatically skews their statistics in that regard.

Thus, the Bengals’ strength meets the Falcons’ weakness, which Cincinnati will exploit. Furthermore, the home-field advantage is completely negated due to the International Games. A good omen for the Bengals: They’re arriving early and will be staying at none other than the regular hotel of the reigning soccer world champions, Spain.

Atlanta Falcons – Cincinnati Bengals Pick

Atlanta turns the ball over far too often (already 16 times), repeatedly giving up good field position. And who, if not Joe Burrow, loves to capitalize on such opportunities? We therefore predict a scoring frenzy by the Bengals on Sunday (at least 27 points of their own).

In addition to this betting option (Bengals Over 26.5), our top pick for Falcons vs. Bengals is a bet on Cincinnati -3.5. After all, they should definitely be able to cover this small spread. They’ve won their last three games by an average margin of 12.0 points.

For player bets, we’re sticking with Ja’Marr Chase—and even more profitably, a touchdown bet on Tee Higgins. He’s scored three touchdowns in his last two games, yet the odds on him are still over 2. We can take advantage of that.
