Will the Seahawks conquer Arizona too?

NFL Game Day 4 and the Thursday Night Game are already upon us again. In our Cardinals vs. Seahawks tip, we have an extremely exciting matchup in the NFC West – already one of the most balanced and competitive divisions in the NFL.

To date, it is also the only division in the league in which all teams have a positive record. This makes the direct duels all the more important, of course. The Cards have been exceptionally good against the Seahawks here. Seattle has won the last seven meetings.

Four of these seven games were also played in Arizona, where the Seahawks were also very successful. In addition to this historical aspect, the here and now also favors Seattle, which comes into the game with the momentum of two consecutive wins, whereas the Cardinals have just suffered a defeat against the 49ers.

To make matters worse, their starting running back James Connor was injured. He will be out, which makes our Cardinals vs. Seahawks prediction even more clearly in Seattle’s favor. We expect another away win for the Hawks against one of their favorite opponents.

Kick-off for Thursday’s game is at 2:15 a.m. Arizona time on Friday morning. The game will be broadcast live on the DAZN streaming service.

Arizona Cardinals – Seattle Seahawks Head-to-head comparison / H2H record

We have already mentioned the uneven record in this matchup. Seattle has won the last seven head-to-head games, five of them by double digits. Last season, the Hawks defeated the Cards 30-18 at their stadium.

Those 48 total points could well be achieved again this year. After all, the Seahawks score 29.3 points per game, which is the fifth-best average in the NFL. The Cardinals only average 20.7, which highlights one of their weaknesses so far – their offense.

Kyler Murray is still struggling to connect with his receivers. 165.0 passing yards per game is the fifth-worst in the league. We expect Arizona to score some total points, but these are likely to be scored on the ground. In general, the betting odds for over points (over 42.5) in Cardinals vs. Seahawks are still good, but this is mainly due to the Hawks’ strong offense.

Arizona Cardinals – Seattle Seahawks Tip

The Seattle Seahawks are in better form and have fewer injury concerns ahead of Thursday night’s game, as Cardinals running back James Connor has been injured so badly that he will miss this game. Backup Trey Benson is good, but will now have to shoulder a much heavier workload than usual.

This, in turn, could have an impact on their stamina, especially late in the game. Our clear recommendation for Arizona vs. Seattle is therefore to bet on the Seahawks. Betting on the Hawks in the fourth quarter is also an exciting alternative given these circumstances.

As an alternative player bet, we consider bets on a touchdown by Jaxon Smith-Njigba to be a good option. He is the clear go-to guy in Seattle’s offense, which has already paid off with a touchdown against the Saints. He should also have an excellent chance of reaching the end zone again against Arizona.
