Who will win the AFC North?

The NFL is entering its final phase, and one of the hottest places to be on Sunday will be Baltimore for our Ravens vs. Steelers tip. Both teams are tied at the top of the AFC North with 6-6 wins, and it currently looks like only the division winner will make the playoffs.

For a long time, it looked like it would be the Pittsburgh Steelers, but then the Ravens caught up – only to stumble again last Thursday. They scored just 14 points against the NFL’s weakest defense (Bengals).

This makes it extremely difficult to predict a winner in this matchup. The Ravens’ offense is currently out of form, but the same is true for the Steelers’ defense. It’s possible that a big play or a turnover could decide this game in the end.

Our prediction for Ravens vs. Steelers is therefore a closely contested game with fewer points scored than generally expected. If the Ravens can only manage to score an average of 18.5 points against the Jets and the Bengals, then they shouldn’t be able to break the 23-point mark against the stronger Steelers defense.

Kickoff for this extremely exciting AFC North matchup is on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in Baltimore. The game will be broadcast live on DAZN – also as a single game and with German commentary.

Baltimore Ravens – Pittsburgh Steelers Head-to-head comparison / H2H record

The Ravens have been the better team in this matchup twice recently. They won both the last game of the 2024 regular season and the playoff game in January quite convincingly. Before that, however, they did not fare particularly well against the Steelers. Baltimore only managed one win between 2020 and 2024.

Current form slightly favors the Ravens, who have won two of their last three games, while the Steelers have won only one. However, we do not consider the -6 point handicap in favor of the Ravens to be playable here. Instead, the odds on Pittsburgh +6 or under points are more interesting for Ravens vs. Steelers.

We also don’t see Baltimore reaching the 23.5 points set for them, as they have not reached this number against either the Jets or the Bengals.

Baltimore Ravens – Pittsburgh Steelers Tip

Statistically, there is little to choose between the two teams this season. The Ravens have scored eight more points so far, but have also conceded four more. Their current record is also exactly the same at 6-6. However, there is one statistic where there is a significant difference: turnovers. The Steelers are fifth in the league with +8, while the Ravens are only 25th with -4.

That doesn’t mean the Steelers will win Sunday’s game, but we certainly don’t see them as being significantly behind. So for Ravens vs. Steelers, a bet on Steelers +6 is just as viable as one on Baltimore under 23.5 points.

For a player bet, we’re sticking with the Steelers and a TD bet on Jaylen Warren. He’s found the end zone in his last two games and is having a very good season anyway.
