Will the Cowboys put on another scoring spectacle?

Oh boy! What the Cowboys are doing right now may be very interesting to watch for subjective fans, but for defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, it could soon be the end. Maybe even after our Cowboys vs. Cardinals tip. Because if the Cards score over 30 points again, Eberflus could lose his job.

It wouldn’t be a big surprise if that happened. The Cardinals are averaging only 21.9 points this season, but every Cowboys opponent has surpassed that number so far – even the Jets and the Panthers. Dallas could still win the home game, though, as they average 40.0 points on home turf – an incredible stat!

We wouldn’t be surprised if both sides score a lot of points on Monday either, as the Boys’ defense will continue to be without several cornerbacks. Among them is Trevon Diggs, who was recently placed on the IR list and will therefore be out for even longer.

So our prediction for Cowboys vs. Cardinals is another shootout, which the Cardinals can also keep up with and where it will ultimately come down to who makes fewer mistakes. If the Boys’ defense fails completely again, then Eberflus’ days as DC may indeed be numbered.

Kick-off for Monday Night Football, with points guaranteed, is at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday in Dallas, Texas. As every Monday, the game will be broadcast live by streaming provider DAZN.

Dallas Cowboys – Arizona Cardinals Head-to-head comparison / H2H record

It’s the same every NFL game day: Everyone somehow expects the Dallas defense to perform a little better, but nothing happens. That’s why we find it hard not to believe that the Cards will score some points here too – even if their offense has been anything but convincing so far.

However, the Cowboys are ahead of the Cards and have won all of their last three matchups – even the two at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. In that respect, this matchup could be another close one on Monday night. However, we expect a home win for the Boys, who ultimately have a little more firepower on their side.

After all, they also score the second-most points per game on offense with 30.8, and they have one of the three best wide receiver duos in the NFL on the field in Lamb and Pickens. Thus, despite their problems, the odds on a Dallas win in Cowboys vs. Cardinals are playable.

Dallas Cowboys – Arizona Cardinals Tip

Betting on Dallas or on over points, that is the question here. Although we ultimately see the Cowboys coming out on top here, we have decided to bet on over points. Why? Because even a total collapse of the Cowboys’ defense would lead to a win – and that is not so unlikely at the moment.

So for Dallas vs. Arizona, a tip on over 53.5 total points is our clear recommendation. We can even set the points a little higher here, at up to over 56.5. This number is also likely to be exceeded on Monday if everything goes normally.

Another alternative is a player bet. Which Cowboys player do we think will score a touchdown on Sunday? To be honest, there are several (Pickens, Lamb, Williams). In the end, we decided on a TD bet on CeeDee Lamb, as he has been Dak Prescott’s preferred target since his return.
