Will the Chargers knock Dallas out?

The Chargers are the NFL’s fighting force – and that’s not meant in a negative way. They have now narrowly defeated the Eagles and the Chiefs in low-scoring games, but will that also work for our Cowboys vs. Chargers tip?

Everyone (including us) is expecting a high-scoring game. That means they will have to score to win. The good news for the Chargers is that there is hardly any team against which it is easier to score. The bad news for them is that the Cowboys can also score – especially at home.

For us, this is a game on a knife edge that could still go to Dallas in the end, as they have their backs against the wall on the one hand and the matchup suits them well on the other. Against Los Angeles, the Cowboys should be able to establish their running game, and whenever they succeed in doing so, it spells trouble for their opponents.

In this respect, our prediction for Cowboys vs. Chargers is a very narrow home win for the Boys, with both teams putting some points on the scoreboard. This also opens up a lot of player bets, where we have Vidal and Williams at the top of our list.

Kick-off for the game is on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in Dallas. The game will be broadcast live on RTL and in the ENDZN on the DAZN streaming service.

Dallas Cowboys – Los Angeles Chargers Head-to-head record

The Chargers won the last two meetings, but those were in Los Angeles. The Chargers haven’t won in Dallas since 1990. However, none of these statistics are particularly relevant, as the two teams don’t face each other very often.

What’s more important here is which team is better suited to this matchup, and for us, that’s the Cowboys. If the Chargers have a weakness, it’s against the run, and if Javonte Williams gets hot in this game, the Boys are unlikely to let that opportunity slip.

So, in Cowboys vs. Chargers, the odds on Dallas -3 are playable, even if we favor player bets (Williams, Vidal) due to the better value here. Betting on Dallas has gone wrong a few times this season, as there are few teams with more inconsistent form.

Dallas Cowboys – Los Angeles Chargers Tip

The Cowboys allow an average of 95.8 more yards against the run – that’s a complete field length. And yet we still prefer Dallas as the winner? Yes, because so far they have only lost their home games when their opponents were able to keep up in a shootout (as was the case recently with the Vikings).

We don’t think the Chargers are quite capable of that. They should also score over 24 points (like almost everyone against Dallas), but the Cowboys are likely to top that. Whether we go for a Cowboys -3 tip or a TD tip on Kimani Vidal in Dallas vs. Los Angeles is up to you. We recommend both options.

As is often the case with Cowboys games, another betting alternative is the over. On average, 59.1 total points are scored in Dallas games. The scheduled 49.5 should be exceeded again against the Chargers.
