Will the Chiefs catch up in the division?

There is little to suggest Denver will win in our Broncos vs. Chiefs tip. In fact, we can only think of one reason: their defense. But even that is only 0.4 points better than the Chiefs’, so the advantage here is limited.

Current form, on the other hand, clearly favors Kansas City. This sounds absurd, given that Denver has won seven games in a row. But five of those seven wins came with a lot of luck and often only at the last second. Denver was rarely the better team – and that was against teams like the Jets, the Giants, and the Raiders.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, lost 21-28 to the Bills on their last game day, but that was against another top team. They also had to face the Eagles, Ravens, and Lions, which made their schedule much more difficult.

That explains their mediocre 5-4 record. However, we see them as the clearly better team against the Broncos, so our prediction for Broncos vs. Chiefs is a clear away win for Kansas City. Without J.K. Dobbins, the Broncos are also likely to have real problems scoring many points in this matchup.

Kick-off for the AFC West duel is on Sunday at 10:25 p.m. in Denver. The game will be broadcast live on the streaming service DAZN with exclusive German commentary.

Denver Broncos – Kansas City Chiefs Head-to-head comparison / H2H record

17:2 – that’s the record in recent years in favor of the Chiefs, and we can hardly evaluate the very last meeting, as the Chiefs rested all their starters on the 18th and final game day of the previous season. So, it’s an uneven matchup that awaits us.

Even though the Broncos have caught up a bit in recent years under Sean Payton. However, it has recently become apparent that even he has little confidence in his young quarterback Bo Nix and only calls plays where Nix can’t mess anything up.

Now Denver has lost running back J.K. Dobbins, and rookie Harvey has to shoulder the bulk of the offense. Not good conditions for Denver, which makes the odds on Kansas City in every respect recommendable for Broncos vs. Chiefs.

Denver Broncos – Kansas City Chiefs Tip

With 187.2, the Chiefs allow the seventh-fewest passing yards of any team. So the Broncos will have to run to get into Kansas City’s half. However, Dobbins’ absence has made that more difficult. It just doesn’t add up for the Broncos in this matchup.

All the more reason to bet on Kansas City -4.5 in Broncos vs. Chiefs. We can even go up to -5.5 points on the handicap, as the Chiefs have covered this spread in eight of their last eleven wins against Denver.

There are several options for a player bet in this matchup. We have opted for one with enormous value. For a TD bet on Marquise Brown, we get up to 5.50 odds points, even though he has scored four touchdowns in his last six games.
