Will the Jags win the AFC South?
Liam Cohen Masterclass – there’s no other way to describe the Jaguars’ resurgence. Hardly anyone would have believed in our Jaguars vs. Titans tip on Sunday on matchday 18 that the AFC South division title could be at stake – at least before the season.
But with seven wins in a row, the Jags have put themselves in the perfect position to clinch the division title with a home win against the bottom team from Tennessee. They should be able to do that, because anything else would be a minor sensation.
The only question is how the game will unfold. If it turns out to be one-sided, the Jaguars’ starters are likely to be pulled early and may not even play in the fourth quarter. That would be at the expense of the total points.
In this respect, over points are definitely not playable here. Overall, however, our prediction for Jaguars vs. Titans is a clear home win for the favorites, with Trevor Lawrence likely to continue his run and rush into the end zone again.
Kickoff for this AFC South clash is on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in Jacksonville. The game can be watched live on RTL and via the streaming provider DAZN live in the ENDZN.
Jacksonville Jaguars – Tennessee Titans Head-to-head comparison / H2H record
This is the second meeting between the two teams this season, with the Jaguars winning the first 27-3 away in November. Now at home in front of their own fans, they will not want to show any weakness and are likely to maintain a clear upper hand.
Anything less than a victory with a margin of at least 14 points would be a surprise. Unless, of course, the Jags decide to rest all their star players at the end, which will only happen if they have a huge lead.
Incidentally, the Jags have won six of the last seven meetings, which speaks for their clear superiority in recent seasons. So, in Jaguars vs. Titans, the odds on Jacksonville are playable in many combinations. However, we would be cautious with pure handicap tips.
Jacksonville Jaguars – Tennessee Titans Tip
27.1 to 17.3 – those are the points scored by the two teams, and this record already shows what we can expect on Sunday. The Jags are clearly superior on offense and are also playing for the division title. So they won’t slow down until the matter is decided.
That points to a clear victory. However, the 13.5 handicap is still very high, especially since the Jaguars could rest a few players at the end. For us, a bet on a rushing touchdown by Trevor Lawrence is therefore the better betting option in Jaguars vs. Titans – at strong odds of up to 3.10. He has reached the end zone three times in the last two games and seems to have taken a liking to it.
Another betting option here is under points. In the first matchup in November (27-3), only 30 total points were scored, and we consider the 48.5 set for Sunday to be significantly too high.
Who would have thought before the season that the Jaguars would be among the top 7 in the Super Bowl odds for 2026 in January? Probably only die-hard Jags fans. However, we would not recommend betting on them to win the Super Bowl. Although the betting odds are extremely high even before the Jaguars’ last game against the Titans.
