Who will score more in this clash of power offenses?
One thing is certain in our Rams vs. Lions tip: there will be no shortage of points. That’s because the best offense (Lions: 30.3) and the fourth-best offense (Rams: 29.2) in terms of points will face each other. The Rams recently scored 45 points in Arizona.
They also have the best wide receiver duo in the league on the field in Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. The Lions are currently lagging behind in this regard, especially after tight end Sam Laporta was ruled out for the rest of the season. Nevertheless, we expect Detroit to put on another offensive fireworks display.
Sometimes there are matchups where a lot of points are expected, but then it turns into a defensive battle. This is unlikely to be one of those games. Especially since the Lions’ defense is not performing at its usual level this season. With 23.4 points conceded per game, they are only mid-table in the league.
So there is a lot to be said for LA, and our prediction for Rams vs. Lions is a high-scoring game that should ultimately go to Los Angeles. However, one or two turnovers too many on the Rams’ side (which cannot be ruled out) and the Lions will walk away with an away win.
