Will the home team’s slump continue?
The home team needs to step up its game if it wants to qualify for the play-in tournament. Currently in eleventh place, it would only be a spectator in the playoffs.
The hosts will be relying primarily on Giannis Antetokounmpo against the team from the Sunshine State. The “Greek Freak” has been available again for three games after several weeks out with injury and is virtually irreplaceable at the franchise from “Brew City” due to his high individual class.
However, the two-time NBA MVP first had to shake off some rust. In his comeback against the Boston Celtics, he ended up with a shooting percentage of only 38.9 percent, which leaves a lot of room for improvement.
Things got better after that, but the home team still lost two of the three games with him on the court. In the showdown between the Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic, the prediction is therefore an away win.
In addition, we expect another strong performance from Tristan da Silva. The German forward is currently very reliable in scoring. Although he recently returned to the bench with the return of Anthony Black to the starting five, this has not had a negative impact on his points tally. He has scored at least eleven points in five of the last seven games!
Milwaukee Bucks – Orlando Magic Head-to-head comparison / H2H record
The two Eastern Conference franchises have already faced each other twice in the last month. Milwaukee won away in Orlando after the Bucks had lost in the “Magic City” two days earlier.
Milwaukee’s record at home against this opponent is very good: Ten of the last eleven home games against the Florida franchise ended in a Bucks victory!
Milwaukee Bucks – Orlando Magic Tip
The home team is not playing convincingly at the moment. Although Giannis Antetokounmpo is back after a long injury break, success has only returned to a limited extent. Only one of the three games with the Greek in the squad ended in victory, and the only win in this review was against Utah.
A team that is in last place in the West and has been completely committed to “tanking” for weeks. The hosts’ defense in particular currently has room for improvement, conceding 120 or more points in the majority (3) of their last five games.
In contrast, the visitors are in stable form, having won their last three games. Furthermore, the team from Florida has also recently improved away from home: four of the previous five away games ended in victory for Coach Jamahl Mosley’s team. In light of these differing trends, we are selecting the betting odds for a victory for the visitors in the game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic.
