Will the Pats remain number 1 in the NFL?
Our Patriots vs. Giants tip a few years ago resulted in exciting duels between Brady and Manning. Currently, the QB duel is Maye vs. Winston, and what a surprise, it could also be an unforgettable matchup – at least when it comes to entertainment.
Since the Giants put their trust in Jameis Winston as quarterback, they have come close to success twice, racking up a lot of yards (517 against the Lions) and treating spectators to some interesting plays.
It could be a similar story in Monday night’s game in New England. Spectacle but defeat. Because ultimately, their defense (especially against the run) is simply too poor to be truly competitive. Against the Lions, they allowed an incredible 237 rushing yards.
The Patriots may not have Jahmyr Gibbs on the field now, but they also have Treveyon Henderson, a running back who can generate big plays. So, for Patriots vs. Giants, our prediction is a New England victory, but above all, another game that promises plenty of points.
Kick-off for Monday Night Game on Week 13 is at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday in New England. The game will be broadcast live on DAZN – as always, with German commentary.
New England Patriots – New York Giants Head-to-head comparison / H2H record
Whenever the game was kept low-scoring, the Giants had a good chance of winning. They have won three of the last five meetings. However, with quarterback Jameis Winston, this is unlikely to happen on Monday. As always in his career, his motto is “all or nothing.”
This leads to many touchdowns, but also to mistakes, which in turn lead to points for the opponent. A game with three to four turnovers would not surprise us here, so the odds on over points are also very playable in Pats vs. Giants.
New England Patriots – New York Giants Tip
The Giants allow an average of 157.2 rushing yards per game – the worst in the entire NFL. The Pats are only in the middle of the NFL with 112.4 rushing yards per game, but they should also be able to make up a lot of yards on the ground.
This leads to many scoring opportunities and, accordingly, points. This makes a bet on over 46.5 total points our preferred option for Patriots vs. Giants. However, bets on New England to win are worth considering, possibly even in combination with the over points.
With our Player Bet, on the other hand, we switch sides and look to the Giants. After Malik Nabers’ injury, Wan’Dale Robinson has emerged as the number one wide receiver. Against the Lions, he had 14 targets, 9 catches, 156 yards, and one touchdown.
A TD bet on Robinson is therefore another good betting alternative. We even get Patriots vs. Giants betting odds well above the 3.00 mark, which is very good value.
