Will the Zebras confirm their slight upward trend?
Under Luciano Spalletti, Juventus Turin remained completely unbeaten in five competitive games (two wins, three draws). Most recently, however, the Bianconeri failed to secure the hoped-for victory in league play against city rivals Torino FC (0-0) or against relegation-threatened Fiorentina (1-1). So there is no sign of a turnaround yet. This is especially true if Juventus fail to win at home against Cagliari. Although the Vecchia Signora are currently unbeaten in nine meetings with the Sardinians (seven wins, two draws), they could only manage a 1-1 draw against Cagliari in their Serie A home game last season.
We would not rule out such a result in what is likely to be a low-scoring match. The Rossoblù have been waiting for another win for eight league games (four draws, four defeats) and have scored just five goals in six away games. However, the Sardinians have only lost two of these six games (one win, three draws), which is due to the fact that they have only conceded seven goals away from home. In our opinion, the match combo on the double chance 1X with under 2.5 goals, which also covers results such as 0-0 or 1-1, is therefore very interesting.
It is clear that the record champions should have the playing resources, having remained completely unbeaten in six Serie A home games in the 2025/26 season, although three of the six home games ended in draws. This is one of the reasons why Juve are currently only in seventh place and already seven points behind leaders AS Roma. Nevertheless, with Juventus against Cagliari at odds of 1.74 at Winamax, it would also be conceivable to apply a handicap of -0.5 to the Vecchia Signora.
Juventus – Cagliari Head-to-head record
Head to head: 51 – 32 – 15
A total of 98 competitive matches have been played between the two clubs so far, with Juventus Turin leading the head-to-head record against Cagliari Calcio very clearly with 51 wins. The Zebre are currently unbeaten in nine games against the Sardinians (seven wins, two draws), but last season they could only manage a 1-1 draw in their Serie A home game against the Rossoblù.

Juventus – Cagliari Tip
Basically, our prediction for Juventus against Cagliari is, of course, a home win for the Zebre, who have remained unbeaten in all six Serie A home games of the 2025/26 season, but have failed to win three times.
In general, it is the same problem as in the lackluster previous season: the Bianconeri are not scoring enough goals and are therefore too rarely rewarding themselves with maximum points for what are otherwise good defensive performances. Even under new coach Luciano Spalletti, three of five competitive games ended in draws (two wins).
We wouldn’t rule out the possibility that the 3-2 win at Bodö/Glimt in the Champions League could be the catalyst against an opponent that hasn’t won in eight league games (four draws, four defeats). However, they failed to win even against struggling Fiorentina, which is why we definitely want to cover results such as 0-0 or 1-1.
