Will Napoli lose touch with the two clubs from Milan?

After 21 matchdays, the Old Lady is ten points behind the league leaders. The gap between the Italian record champions and their opponents in the Juventus vs. Napoli tip is much smaller. The reigning champions have struggled recently, dropping several wins, and are only four points behind Juve.

Luciano Spalletti enjoys the utmost respect among the Old Lady’s fans ahead of his return to his former stomping ground. Memories are sure to be stirred for the 66-year-old ahead of our Juventus vs. Napoli prediction – he won the championship with the Partenopei in 2023.

The Italian-born coach’s time in Turin has been excellent so far. The Italian record champions have played 17 competitive games under his guidance – winning eleven, drawing four and losing only two.

During these 17 competitive games, the Old Lady has built up a goal difference of 30:11. This already gives us some initial insights, which are underlined by a look at the Juventus – Napoli betting odds. The fifth-placed team is currently performing at an extremely high level in all phases of the game.

If we only consider the figures from Spalletti’s appearances in Serie A, his tenure so far looks even better. In the Spalletti table, the Old Lady ranks third (24 points). Juve is one position higher in the expected table (26.51 xPTS).

On the other hand, Antonio Conte’s team has recently had increasing problems in attack. The Azzurri scored two goals in their previous three appearances – the visitors have only managed one win in their last five competitive games (4D).

Juventus – Napoli Head-to-head record / H2H record

The home team has had a real advantage in this fixture recently. Four of the previous five meetings have been won by the home team. When Napoli visited the Allianz Stadium, the Partenopei fans had little to cheer about.

SSC failed to score in their two previous visits to Turin. Perhaps Conte’s protégés will have to go without celebrating a goal again this coming weekend. Juve have finished eight of their 17 competitive games under Luciano Spalletti without conceding a goal.

Juventus – Napoli Tip

It is remarkable how clearly Spalletti has raised the level of the Old Lady. The 66-year-old relies on a system with a back five, without falling into deep defense. Juve immediately pushes forward as soon as opposing teams play the ball back – often putting attackers offside.

Opponents have found few gaps in Juventus Turin’s defense in recent matches. The Bianconeri have conceded the fewest expected goals in the league since Spalletti took over as coach (9.30 xGA). Conte’s team was not far behind during this period (11.32 xGA – 3rd).

Of the nine previous Juve home games under the 66-year-old head coach, the Old Lady has finished five matches without conceding a goal. In total, Juve conceded only four goals in these nine home games.

We like the risk/reward ratio for “Napoli under 0.5 goals,” especially in conjunction with the free bet. Added to this is the relative poor form of the reigning champions.
