Will Brambilla push the right buttons at the Zebre?

The word was already out immediately after Juve’s 0-1 defeat at Lazio Rome, but since Monday afternoon it has been confirmed: eight consecutive competitive games without a win (five draws, three defeats) were too much for the Italian record champions, and Igor Tudor has been relieved of his duties.

During the midweek fixtures, former reserve coach Massimo Brambilla will now take charge of the home game against the Friuli-based Bianconeri on an interim basis, before a successor is announced in the near future. Among those being considered is former BVB coach Edin Terzic. However, if Juventus beat Udinese at home, Brambilla could also have a claim to the job as interim coach.

There is no doubt that the record champions have enough quality in their squad. The Vecchia Signora started the 2025/26 season with three wins and even defeated runners-up Inter Milan 4-3 at home before completely losing momentum. Five draws were followed by three consecutive defeats, which is why we would refrain from predicting the outcome of the match. Instead, it makes sense to bet on a maximum of two goals being scored in Piedmont – a bet that would have paid off in six of the last seven meetings between the two teams.

Another popular bet is that a maximum of one team will score. After all, there have been no goals from both sides in any of the last seven meetings between the two Bianconeri. In addition, the Vecchia Signora has not scored in any of its last four competitive games and has only scored nine goals in eight Serie A games. At Bet-at-home, odds of 1.78 are available for Juventus vs. Udinese for a maximum of one team to score.

Juventus – Udinese Head-to-head record

Head to head: 74 – 22 – 14

The two Bianconeri teams have faced each other 110 times so far, with Juventus Turin clearly dominating with 74 wins. The Zebre already took all six points against Udinese Calcio last season with two 2-0 wins and have lost only one of their last ten games against the Friulani (eight wins, one draw). Only once in the last seven meetings between the two teams have more than two goals been scored.

Juventus – Udinese Tip

The Italian record champions have parted ways with Igor Tudor, which naturally influences the prediction for Juventus vs. Udinese. After all, there was a noticeable downward spiral under the former coach. After three wins at the start of the season, there were five draws in a row before the Zebre lost three games in a row.

Juve have also been waiting for another goal for four games now, so things can only get better under the reserve team’s previous coach, Massimo Brambilla. However, the Friulani are a strong opponent coming to Piedmont. The Aquilotti are unbeaten in three Serie A games (one win, two draws).

It is striking that neither team has exactly shone in terms of offensive power, which is why a low-scoring match is to be expected. This is also underlined by the statistics. In none of the last seven competitive matches between the two teams have both sides scored. Meanwhile, there has only been more than two goals once.
