Are the champions unstoppable once again?

The champions from the capital are dominating the current finals series against their opponents from Mannheim with surprising ease. The team from the SAP Arena is already trailing 2-0!

The best defense of the regular season is struggling to contain Berlin’s offense in particular. The Eagles have conceded no fewer than twelve goals in the two final games played so far. Against this backdrop, the prediction of the visitors scoring more than two goals again in the next matchup between Adler Mannheim and Eisbären Berlin looks promising.

Furthermore, in our opinion, the odds on another goal by Liam Kirk for the 11-time German champions could be worth a bet. The Brit has already scored three times in the final series and in four of the last five games of the 2026 DEL playoffs!

Adler Mannheim – Eisbären Berlin Head-to-Head Record

The Eisbären have won the last two matchups against Mannheim, as well as their previous meeting in the regular season. Furthermore, they generally enjoy traveling to the Rhine.

Only two of the past ten away games against the Adler ended in a loss for the Puckjäger from the Spree. Regardless, the odds for the next matchup between Adler Mannheim and Eisbären Berlin do not favor either team.

Adler Mannheim – Eisbären Berlin Prediction

The champion of the last two seasons is performing all the stronger in the playoffs after a mixed regular season that ended in sixth place. Against the Eagles, Berlin is just two games away from the twelfth title in club history.

Despite some absences, the Eisbären are dominating the current final series with two wins and an average of six goals. While the opponent is on par from a gameplay perspective, they have not capitalized on their chances so far.

This quickly makes it clear that, unlike the experienced Berliners, Mannheim cannot handle the pressure of the finals. Given this situation, for Game 3 between Adler Mannheim and Eisbären Berlin, we’re betting on the visitors to score more than two goals again.

This prediction is supported by the visitors’ traditionally strong offense on the Rhine: In eight of their last ten away games in Mannheim, Berlin surpassed the selected goal total!
