Will the T-Wolves force a Game 7?

In Game 6, the postseason could already be over for the home team. Trailing 2-3 against the Texans, we’re providing you with a tip for the upcoming matchup at the Target Center between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the San Antonio Spurs.

The visitors completely dominated the T-Wolves in the last game. With a 29-point margin, the victory for the men from the “Lone Star State” was very clear. However, Coach Chris Finch’s hosts are now banking on home-court advantage, and even though the latest loss was decisive, the series remains fairly even.

The Spurs also held their opponent under 100 points in the last game for the fifth time in the first ten games of the ongoing 2026 NBA Playoffs. However, they’ve only managed this feat once on the road, and the T-Wolves have scored 108 or more points in both of their home games in the series so far. With that in mind, for the Minnesota Timberwolves’ next home game against the San Antonio Spurs, we’re predicting at least 107 points from the home team.

Furthermore, we expect Dylan Harper to deliver another strong performance for the visitors. The guard is averaging 14.6 points in the series, significantly surpassing his scoring average of 11.8 from the previous regular season.

Given this improvement, the odds on more than 10.5 points in Game 6 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs also look promising. A threshold that Harper has already surpassed in four of the five games in the series. Furthermore, the matchup now appears to be much closer than in recent games, which is why, in our view, the odds on the home team not losing by more than six points could also be worthwhile.

Minnesota Timberwolves – San Antonio Spurs Head-to-Head Record

As described, San Antonio won the last game in the series very convincingly and now leads 3-2. However, the Texans haven’t had much success on the road in this matchup for quite some time: Only one of their past nine away games in “Mill City” ended in a Spurs victory.

Regardless, the betting odds for Game 6 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the San Antonio Spurs point toward a victory for the visitors.

Minnesota Timberwolves – San Antonio Spurs Prediction

While the Oklahoma City champions have already secured their spot in the Western Conference Finals with a sweep of the Lakers, the battle between the T-Wolves and Spurs is far more exciting.

However, the visitors now also have the chance to follow OKC into the Western Conference Finals with a win. That said, we believe the home team is capable of putting up a strong fight once again. Playing in front of their home crowd, the home team also performs more effectively on offense than in the games in San Antonio.

They’re averaging 111 points at home in the series, compared to just 98.6 points on the road.

Given this difference, for Game 6 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs, we’re betting on at least 106.5 points for Finch’s squad!

This prediction is supported by broader statistics for the matchup: The Timberwolves have scored 107 or more points in six of their last seven home games against the Spurs.
