Will the Czech player keep the momentum going?

Ever since her spectacular 2-0 victory over world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, Naomi Osaka has been a red-hot contender for the Wimbledon title. The fact that the Japanese player was once again defeated by Karolina Muchová 0–2 in the quarterfinals suggests that betting on another victory for the Czech player in her match against Coco Gauff is a good choice. Not only is the 29-year-old now facing the last remaining Grand Slam champion in the field, but she’s also not actually a particularly strong grass-court player. Over the past four years, she has consistently been eliminated in the first round at Church Road.

Furthermore, the American has won six of her seven singles matches against Karolina Muchová to date. Coco Gauff could also reach her fourth Grand Slam final at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Her mental strength also supports this outlook. Just in the quarterfinals against her compatriot Jessica Pegula, the 22-year-old fought back from a 0-1 set deficit to secure a 2-1 victory over the world No. 4, showing particular composure in converting break points. She earned five break points—all five led to a break.

Karolina Muchová – Coco Gauff Head-to-Head Record

Head-to-Head: 1–6

The two players have faced each other seven times so far, and with six wins, Coco Gauff clearly leads the head-to-head series. However, in their most recent matchup, Karolina Muchová defeated the American for the first time when the two players faced off at the 2026 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. It was their third match of the year. In the first two matches, Coco Gauff had won both in straight sets, 2-0.

Karolina Muchová – Coco Gauff Prediction

It certainly can’t be denied that the clean 2-0 victory over Sabalenka-beater Naomi Osaka was a masterpiece by Karolina Muchová, who won 80 percent of her first-serve points in that quarterfinal.

Now, however, she faces a two-time Grand Slam champion against whom she hasn’t had much success in the past. The 29-year-old has lost six of her seven previous matches against Coco Gauff. Moreover, her only victory came on clay—a surface that has suited her far better than grass throughout her career.

We see the American as the favorite in many respects and were therefore surprised that the bookmakers see it completely differently. While a closely contested match is expected, the bookmakers give the Czech player the better odds of reaching the final. We see significant value in betting on the supposed underdog.

We therefore recommend betting on the 22-year-old American to reach the final. Bet-at-home is offering odds of 1.95 for Karolina Muchová vs. Coco Gauff, and we’re placing a bet of four out of ten units on this outcome.
