Will the Karlsruhe native make it past the first round in New York for the first time?
The last Grand Slam tournament of the year is here, and we’re bringing you a pick for Yannick Hanfmann’s match against Alejandro Tabilo! The German kicked off the hard-court season in the U.S. earlier this month, and his results have been mostly encouraging.
At the Masters in Montreal, he made it all the way to the third round. In Cincinnati, however, he was knocked out in his second match—though that was against Arthur Fils, who was in top form and ultimately won the tournament in Ohio. His upcoming opponent from Chile, on the other hand, still has room for improvement.

We expect a close match, though—unlike last year, when Tabilo lost in straight sets to Alex Zverev—and see more value in the odds for the German, whom bookmakers consider a slight underdog.
