Will the Seahawks’ defense dominate the Bears as well?

Monday Night turns into Super Game Night on NFL Week 8 with our Seahawks vs. Bears pick. Because even though both teams already have at least two losses (Seattle even has three), they’re both still considered long-shot Super Bowl favorites for 2027.

The Seahawks just made a statement against the Chiefs (20–3), while the Bears traded two first-round picks for Jeffery Simmons. It’s still unclear whether he’ll play on Monday, but they’re definitely a force to be reckoned with going forward.

For Monday’s game, however, we still see Seattle as the slight favorite. For one thing, they’re playing at home at Lumen Field, and for another, the Simmons trade is causing some unrest within the Bears’ organization. Therefore, our prediction for Seahawks vs. Bears is a home win, made possible in part by the Hawks’ outstanding defense.

This top NFC showdown kicks off at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday morning in Seattle. The game will be broadcast live on RTL, as well as on RTL+ and the Sky conference feed—all with German commentary.

The Seahawks just clipped the Chiefs’ tomahawks and could now do the same with the Bears’ claws. -3.5 is a handicap that’s just barely playable. However, since we expect a strong Seattle defense, the odds on the under for the Seahawks vs. Bears game are also excellent bets.

Seattle Seahawks – Chicago Bears Head-to-Head Record

The last time these two teams faced off was two years ago, and the game ended in a low-scoring 6–3 victory for Seattle. We don’t expect that few points on Monday night, but it wouldn’t surprise us if it turns out to be another low-scoring game (as in 4 of the last 5 matchups).

Four of the last six matchups have also gone to Seattle, which often allows only a few points against the Bears. Over the last six games, they’ve allowed an average of just 16.6 points—a figure we can use as a benchmark again for Monday.

Seattle Seahawks – Chicago Bears Pick

How well will the Seahawks’ defense hold up against the Bears? That’s the big question following their stellar performance against the Chiefs (only 3 points allowed). Of course, something like that doesn’t happen every week, but we think it’s very possible they can hold Chicago to under 22 points.

So, for the Seahawks vs. Bears game, our preferred betting option is a bet on Chicago scoring under 21.5 points. A general under bet (under 46.5) is also a solid play for anyone who isn’t entirely confident in the Seahawks’ offense (especially Darnold, given his 8 interceptions so far).

For a player bet, we’re going with the NFL’s current top wide receiver and recommend a touchdown bet on Jaxon Smith-Njigba. He’s already caught eight touchdown passes in seven games this season, leading the entire NFL in that category.
